"Bought this for my son. Takes 4, AAA batteries. Son loves the rapid fire of the darts, by far one of his favorite guns. The only suggestion is better loading of the darts from the front as you have to bend them a little to get them in. would be nice to load them from the rear and not have to bend them to get them in."
